Two people were transported to the hospital early Monday morning after a traffic collision in Lemon Grove that left multiple vehicles damaged but no one seriously hurt. The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 AM at 8465 Broadway. Initial 911 callers reported a chaotic four-vehicle collision with reports of ejections. However, once first responders arrived, they determined no one had been thrown from any of the vehicles. The crash involved two parked vehicles, one possibly in motion or stopped, and a primary vehicle that sustained the brunt of the impact. One person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, while another — likely the driver — sustained only minor injuries and was able to walk to the ambulance under his own power. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department from the Lemon Grove substation is handling the investigation. It remains unclear what caused the crash or whether alcohol or speed were factors.
