La Mesa police are investigating a reported shooting near the 4700 block of Williamsburg Lane that sent one person to a hospital Monday afternoon.
Officers said two suspects remain outstanding and are described as white males, approximately 18 to 19 years old, wearing black masks and all-black clothing. Police warned the suspects may be armed.
A police helicopter was deployed to assist ground units searching the area. Authorities are urging the public not to approach anyone matching the description and to call 911 immediately with any information.
The investigation remains active, and no additional details were released.
