San Diego, CA (July 21, 2025) — Two vehicles collided early Monday morning at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Orange Avenue in the Colina Del Sol neighborhood. The crash occurred shortly after 2:00 AM and appeared to be the result of one vehicle running a red light, according to initial observations at the scene.
One vehicle was traveling west on Orange Avenue while the other was heading north on Euclid when they struck each other in the intersection. Airbags deployed in at least one of the vehicles, but remarkably, no one was seriously injured. All parties involved declined medical transport and were able to walk away from the scene under their own power.
San Diego Police responded and conducted an initial investigation. Officers confirmed that DUI was not a factor in the crash.
Traffic through the area was lightly impacted given the early hour, and the scene was cleared without requiring extended road closures.
No citations or arrests were immediately reported.
